Dr. Evan Howe PT, MPT, DPT
Dr. Evan A.T. Howe PT, MPT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, California State Board Certified Physical Therapist, and is the founder of ThePhysioFit Performance Physical Therapy and innovator of Kinesiotherapy. Evan received his BS major in Kinesiology at Whittier College in 2005. He also played football for 4 years and was awarded All-League honors as a receiver and was the team captain his senior season.
Evan attended The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) for a post graduate degree in Physical Therapy in 2011. Evan was awarded a clinical distinction for his excellence in his clinical and hospital work and graduated with honors for his academic achievement. Evan also played Rugby for RCSI.
Evan returned to the United States for a residency at Rob Rosenberry Physical Therapy (RRPT) and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy following his residency.
Evan has been working as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in California for more than a decade and has had the privilege of working with a wide variety of professional athletes including gold medal olympians, heisman trophy winners, NCAA All-Americans in football/baseball/soccer/lacrosse, Pro Bowl NFL athletes, Stanley Cup Champions, UFC athletes, and NFR world champion athletes.
Evan specializes in performance physical therapy, movement science, injury prevention, strength and longevity training. He has currently been advancing his education with focus on mastery of Counterstrain Manual Therapy through the Jones Institute and the Counterstrain Academy.
Evan lives with his wife Kebi, and his three children, Elli, Madi and Bodi in Santa Barbara, CA. He believes passionately in the core principles of physical therapy – maximize function, restore quality of life, and improve pain free performance. Evan is eager to help people all over the world move better and feel better.
